Under the auspices of our recruitment company, 2000 Recruitment Pte Ltd, we recruit skilled workers and professionals such as engineers, nurses, and other service professionals from countries such as People’s Republic of China (PRC), India and the Philippines. All recruitment activities within the Group are currently centralized under this company.  Since 1997, we have been supplying contract workers & local placement to the manufacturing industry through Sino-Star Management Pte Ltd.

Founded in 1997, 2000 Recruitment Pte Ltd has established itself as one of the premier recruitment agencies for the supply of skilled overseas manpower in Singapore.  Our agenda is to recruit the right workers with the right competencies and attitude for our clients to get their jobs done right away and right always.

Over the years, we have recruited several thousand overseas workers for Singapore companies; the figure promises to be much higher going forward – and indication of the progress and growth we are making.

A licensed recruitment agency with special approval granted by the MOM license department to recruit from the PRC, we are among the top few active recruitment agencies hiring skilled manpower from the PRC. We are also approved by the China government to carry on our recruitment activities in the country and are audited annually. Currently, we recruit a high number of professionals annually from China, India and the Philippines.

 

Scope of recruitment services
Unlike several other recruitment agencies in Singapore, we are a specialized recruitment firm focused on overseas recruitment in niche sectors. We hire from countries that offer a large pool of skilled, talented and competent workers while enabling cost-savings to fulfill the manpower needs of the companies we serve.

In 2003, we diversified into the healthcare sector to provide qualified foreign nurses to well established government hospitals in Singapore that have set the highest standards for the skills, qualifications and experience expected of their nursing staff. We recruit nurses mainly from China, Philippines and India. In less than 5 years, 2000 Recruitment has been recognized as a key player in meeting the needs for good nurses in our hospitals, with several Singapore’s leading government hospitals opting for our services. We are already one of the most preferred agencies for recruitment of foreign nurses.

We have a stringent recruitment operations process to ensure that we are indeed getting the most suitable candidates. We are very particular about weeding out candidates that may not fit in to their jobs, either because of skill deficiencies or attitudinal issues.

Founded in 1993, SSA is strategically focused on recruitment of trainees/ interns mainly for the hospitality, retail and tourism sectors.

Training & Internship
The company recruits and manages the International Practicum Training of college students’ from PRC and Philippines by attaching them to suitable and reputable organizations in Singapore.

Pioneer in this business in Singapore, SSA was the first company to recruit students from PRC for such a programme. Today, SSA is one of the market leaders in this space, bringing in about 200 students per annum

Our trainee recruitment and management process
We have a well-structured and successful process that ensures that we comply with local as well the source country’s guidelines and conform to the needs of the industry and the trainees. This includes:
Facilitate and formalize a tie-up between our overseas associates and the concerned college in PRC / Philippines.
Ensure that we are complying with all requirements specified by colleges and the relevant authorities in PRC / Philippines for the recruitment and deployment of trainees to Singapore to undergo their practicum with the company.
Pre-screen candidates from the selected colleges to ensure that they meet the company’s requirements. Bio-data of suitable candidates are then sent to the company for short-listing.
Selection of trainees based on personal interviews that evaluate students on Aptitude, Appearance, Age, Academic performance and Language proficiency.
Post-selection and during internship programme/ practicum, supervise and manage the students and cater to their welfare needs.
Ensure high standard of work performance by setting strict rules and performance guidelines.
Provide counseling, and where necessary, take disciplinary action, to address work attitude and social problems.
